Doug Tweddale is an experienced pastel and oil artist, who has studied for over 15 years with Master Albert Handell.

He has received numerous awards and is a member of the Pastel Society of America, Greater Norristown Art League, Pastel Society  of the West Coast. 

 

Michael Chesley Johnson works in oil and pastel in the American Southwest, coastal Maine and the Canadian Maritimes. He has been an invited artist to many national plein air painting events over the years and has competed in challenging locations such as the Grand Canyon.Elected a Master Pastellist by Pastel Artists Canada in 2008, He is a Signature Member of the American Impressionist Society and the Pastel Society of America as well as a juried member of Oil Painters of America.

 

Sedona is an Arizona town, well known for the massive red rock bluffs and steep canyon walls that surround it.  The formations appear to glow in brilliant orange and red when illuminated by the rising or setting sun, calling all artists to paint. 

 

The workshop will start on Sunday evening with a "meet and greet" dinner at a local restaurant (separate checks). Monday through Friday will include full day of plein air painting, with help at the easel and a group critique at the end of each day. Saturday morning will be a group critique of the week's work.

 

 

Tuition: $475

$250 non-refundable, transferrable deposit is required upon registration

  The remaining $225 is due paid by February 2, 2017. 

A refund of the $225 can be arranged until March 22, 2017.
