 Located on the West coast, Monterey  is surrounded by abundant sea life - seals, otter, sea birds, and fish abound in the deep cold Pacific waters. Locations ideal for Plein Air painting include a large marina and Point Lobos State Park, designated the most beautiful state park in the US. Nearby is Garrapata State Park with its amazing wild seacoast of jagged rocks and huge surf.
